Rihanna Up for Remake of “The Last Dragon?

Cult classic “The Last Dragon” is up for a remake by Kerry Gordy (son of Motown mogul Barry Gordy), John Davis of Davis Entertainment and Rza of Wu-Tang Clan as co-producer. Rza is confident the remake will be better than the original saying, "We're gonna make it real classic - take it back to the '80s. We're gonna try it a few years ahead. We got some crazy ideas, but the main thing is still finding that glow. That's still the theme of the film, to find that glow in yourself."

Rihanna in 3 million pound lawsuit

Singer Rihanna is facing a 3 million pound lawsuit from Brazilian concert promoters, who claim that they were duped into booking the 'Umbrella' singer for a concert.

Officials at Unique Sports and Marketing have revealed that they signed a 1.1 million pound deal with a company called Vegas Style Entertainment (VSE) to book Rihanna for three Brazil gigs in November (10). They gave 550,000-pound advance to secure Rihanna for the concerts. But, VSE apparently has no connection with the singer and it only pocketed the money. The chiefs at Unique Sports and Marketing filed legal documents in New York and demanded 3,123,300 pound in compensation, reports the Daily Star.

Rihanna stopped a restaurant manager trying to ban her fans from taking her photograph. The 'Rude Boy' singer was enjoying a meal out with friends in Ago, in West Hollywood when two teenage supporters reportedly asked if they could pose with her.

However, the manager reportedly rushed over and scorned: "Fans are not allowed to bother celebrities, so no pictures, please!" However, the 22-year-old beauty quickly interrupted the restaurant worker and told him to leave them alone. She said: "These girls are my fans and without them, I'd be nothing. So I'm happy to pose!"

Its Official: Rihanna's New Single 'Only Girl' to Arrive on Sept. 7

There is no more guessing about when Rihanna's brand new single "Only Girl (In the World)" will be debuted since Ryan Seacrest has broken the official release date of the song. In his blog, the "American Idol" host announced it will be unearthed next week on September 7 at 3 A.M. PT / 6 A.M. ET.

The upcoming single comes from production hands of Stargate, the mastermind behind uplifting hit single "Please Don't Stop the Music". Words on the street are, the new song is also a dance track which will mark the singer's return to her fun stuff like smash hit "Umbrella".

In the meantime, Rihanna is staying in Hawaii to film her new movie "Battleship". Earlier this week, she was snapped looking tomboy in an army uniform and short dark-colored locks which she hides under a cap.
